Two minute excerpt from, The Miracle City. While not written for a film, this concert piece has big, wide-open landscape scene written all over it. First premiered in Halifax Nova Scotia, and later with the Peninsula Symphony and New Valley
Symphony in Los Angeles, the impetus for the title comes from the Great San Francisco Earthquake of 1906.
